The 3D Learning Family

One family of 3D apps

Take it apart.
See how it works.

Circuits, buildings, engines, the human body. Build it in 3D, explode it, push it until something fails, and see exactly why it did.

The family: CircuiTry3D, ThePrints3D, AutoMotive3D, AnyBody3D, TheCell3D, ThePyramids3D, AnyPlanet3D, LearnIT3D

The apps

Same controls, same look, same engine underneath. Learn one and you already know the others.

The engine underneath

F.U.S.E.™

Failure Understanding Simulation Engine.

Every app in the family runs on the same idea: you learn how something works by watching it fail. F.U.S.E. models the load, the heat and the limit from real specs, so when a fuse blows, a joist sags or a bearing spins, you see the reason, not just the result.

It started in CircuiTry3D as a way to show what a fuse actually does. Now it runs under all of them.

A framer who went looking for a 3D circuit simulator, found none, and built one.

Mitchell Lorin McKnight is a carpenter and electrical apprentice in Surrey, BC. In first year, the circuit math didn't land. He wanted to watch the current move through something he could turn over and look at from any side. Nothing like that existed, so he built it.

CircuiTry3D went live on Google Play in March 2026. The same approach went into framing, then engines, and it keeps going.
